Bite Sized Pieces

I thought I’d add a page with some of the posts that explain what I am, and what I’m doing, and how I got here – just so that if you’re trying to figure out what the hell this blog is all about you don’t have to crawl through months of posts about what I ate for lunch in Mid June.

Setting the Scene

• The about tab is always a good place to go to get the skinny on me. Also to find the only picture of myself that I’ve posted so far (don’t judge me… security is a bit of an issue when you’re a werewolf.)

• This post is all about the time I thought I’d eaten a cat. It’s a good starter if you’re new here – it’s got most of the basic info. (I didn’t, just so you know.)

• This post  (Part One, and Part Two) is all about how I met Brent, the Alpha of the Were-Hyena Clan. It was kind of a big deal because he was the only other were that I had ever spoken to. Also because he turned out to be an asshole.

• This one is about how I ended up living with the Hyena Clan. I thought it was fantastic, right up until it ended badly.

• Really, really badly. Like, so badly they wanted me to fire bomb the local wolf pack. Sadly, I very nearly went through with it. Logic kicked in at the last second, and instead I nearly got beaten up by the Wolf Pack Alpha.

Meeting the Wolf Pack

• This post is all about my first encounter with Ran, the super hot, and super annoying Wolf Pack Alpha. (Well… The first encounter where he didn’t punch me, anyway.)
  
  - BTW, he has a stupid name. I asked, and apparently it’s short for Randwulf, which is Ancient Germanic and means Wolf Shield. Whatever. Basically it means I tease him a lot.

• This post (Part one, and Part two) is all about the time the Hyenas tried to kill me. Thankfully the wolves (Who, actually I really didn’t think cared all that much) managed to get to me just in time to avoid a fatality. (I did not avoid massive scarring, which annoys me, but not as much as dying would have annoyed me.)

• This post is all about how Ran decided to try order me around. It didn’t go well. I punched him, he tried to force me to join the pack. Things got a bit strained.

• We came to an understanding though, and sorted out a sort of a working relationship. It doesn’t stop them from breaking into my apartment whenever they feel like it to ‘socialise’ though.

Finding my Place

• Tiny lets on that they think I should not only JOIN the Pack, but that I should also LEAD the pack. Bah. Haha. Ha. *Snort*

• This post is about how I ended up unleashing The Crazy at Ran. Hot, beautiful, amazing, gorgeous Ran.  Surprisingly, it didn’t seem to scare him off.

• In face, Ran is much LESS worried by The Crazy than I thought… We kissed. It was amazing.

• Of course kissing is never the end of it… We had to talk about feelings and crap. It turns out, in a massive example of gender role reversal, he wanted something more  romantic and permanent than I did.

• In fact, when I proposed a more… casual… relationship he shut me down in a big way. It left me a little confused – what kind of guy says no to casual sex?

• Meanwhile I’m becoming more comfortable with the idea of being a wolf, and a Pack wolf.

Leadership?

• While I’m finally finding myself (sort of) more comfortable with the idea of Pack, there is unfortunately a bit of a major issue with Tiny. She’s changed her stance on giving up her Alpha position in a big way.

• Without my friendship with Tiny, I’m at a bit of a loss on how to learn more about the Pack. I end up asking Ran if I can borrow a few of his wolves, and he decides that clearly that means I’m going to join his Pack and become Alpha, and date him. (Tricky Alpha…)

• And on Ran? Even though we’re not ‘dating’ things are going remarkably well with him… When he’s in town that is..

• Slowly, as exam pressure and stuff starts to ease up, I begin to see a way out of my impasse with Tiny. I also start to like the idea of this Alpha stuff more.

• Now all I have to do is steer clear of the weird Shifter political stuff, and I might be able to pull this off!

Ran and I decided to try the Relationship thing

• In November I was busy finishing up with exams and looking forward to my upcoming holiday to Rarotonga. Then Ran – who had been disappearing more and more often, dropped a bomb on me. He’d found the deranged asshole who made me a werewolf. The Alpha’s ended up killing him. Part 1 – Part 2.
• After all this, I was naturally not all that interested in jetting off to sunny Rarotonga. The last barrier to a relationship with Ran, and me taking over the leadership was gone (whether I knew it at the time or not) and I just wanted to get it over and done with. Ran made me get on the plane anyway.
• After Raro Ran and I ease into a relationship. It goes well. Really well – ie. I finally get sex. AWESOME SEX.
• We even talk about the future – which for me is strange, because I never plan in advance. Also there is the occasional small road bump. Naturally.

Life as Co-Alpha

• Also? In quick succession, I take over being Alpha. It’s both easier and harder than expected.
• Tiny is Pregnant. Andre nearly doesn’t survive her finding out.
• Then I move in to the Tree house, a little before Christmas, and find it REALLY really hard.
• Ran and I negotiate some rules, which make things easier too.
• Christmas comes and goes. My boyfriend buys me a treehouse.

Disjointed – Things get Bad

• Naturally, things could not be all sunshine and tree-houses for long though. Michael betrays the Pack, and does something unforgivable.
• The Pack splinters, which, actually could be a good thing.
• Ran and I fight.
• And when we’re not fighting? We’re not talking.
• When we’re not not talking? We’re fighting again.

Mattieo

• Also? In the middle of the fighting and weird Pack settling stuff Mattieo, a Tiger, comes to stay with us. I instantly decide I don’t like him.
• Which, naturally, causes more problems with Ran and I – possibly because Ran notices something I didn’t (Sometimes I can be a bit clueless about my own feelings)
• Matt and I chat, and decide to not kill each other. (Which, I think, was very benevolent of me.)
• Somehow he gets elected as my new Second. (Tiny being preggers means she can’t really do the job)
• I realize something about Mattieo that I didn’t realize before. I would have gotten along quite well without knowing it too. Life is hard enough making the relationship-Alpha business work without adding feelings for a fucking Tiger in on top of it all.
