About the Author

Hi, I’m Shannon.

This is my semi-autobiographical, but mostly fiction (obviously!) Blog.

Like Ayla, I am a fan of Taekwon Do, Boxing, and just pain old hitting things hard. I’m constantly covered in bruises!

I’m also a student, in my third year, and I also work in an office in my spare time ( I also bar-tend, and do all sorts of bizarre odd jobs for money and fame.)

Why blog? And why THIS blog?

I write ‘paranormal romance’ (ie: erotica – but I hate that word, so don’t use it!) on Literorica.com. If you’re a fan of Lit, then you may be familiar with me (I write as kitten101 – which is pretty much the stupidest username ever. Feel free to laugh.)

I started this blog a few months ago because no matter what I do I just can’t seem to turn out a whole chapter for Lit while also studying for uni (it’s a priorities thing.) So instead I thought I’d keep my creative mind engaged with a blog – blogs are quick, and easy, and most importantly, you can blog from anywhere, whereas with Lit stories I pretty much have to be at home in my bat cave.

Also I wanted a chance to practice writing in first person rather than third - I never do it, so I kinda suck at it. As they say, practice makes perfect, and I’m a big fan of perfection.

I more recently decided to make my personal blog Leaf Probably public again, come check me out!

Contacting Shannon:

I love to hear about other people’s writing projects, and what you guys are up to, so feel free to drop me a line here: aylawolf [at] gmail.com

Or, if you’re over 18, check out my other projects on Lit - I promise they’re not all sex. I’m a big fan of strong, quirky women, tall dark and brooding men, PLOT, humor, and snazzy dialogue.

Non-Required Reading:

I’m also a huge fan of reading. I go through books by the box full! It’s so bad that I’ve started just buying e-books because they’re cheaper, and they don’t make my bookshelf creak and groan.

I’m also a sneaky fan of Young Adult books – I love how they let the reader use their imagination a bit – the story isn’t always all spelt out in all it’s gory detail!

Some of my favorite authors include:

Lori Foster
Shelly Laurenston
Janet Evanovich
Annette Curtis Klause
- Who writes amazing YA fiction – Blood and Chocolate is still my favorite book!

Amelia Atwater-Rhodes
- Another super YA writer – My favorite of hers is Midnight Predator, but they’re all pretty good!
